Writing a Great Company Description
The small two-and-a-half line description on your posting is one of the most important pieces of your posting. This is often your "first impression" on your customer so it is important that it is professional and compelling. Here are some tips and ideas to help you come up with a great description.
- Keep it factual and informative and avoid broad claims such as "we are the best".
- Proofread it for spelling and grammatical errors.
- Tell the customer what makes you different, your niche. For example, if you are a company with one bus, you can point out to customers that "as an owner/operator I have less overhead and can offer more attentive service".
